What is the measure of time? Can I try to redefine it?
If I define time in terms of our own body's exertion and metabolism, then everyone's time is different.
I used the shelf-life time tips on food packaging that I had accumulated over the year to recreate a biological clock of my own. Using the cyanotype print method, I washed the dates on some of the food packaging that could easily be erased on the inside of the box. And for those times that were firmly printed on the box, I cut them out and sewed them together. I was very experimental in seeing the two figures as musical scores and playing them out in instrument Guqin .

What makes myths happen in daily life?
Can we find the third objective world in times through our perceptions? Can We find various ways and standards to measure our own time? geological time, calendars, cesium atomic clocks, global standard time ...... They present a relative standard, and 'Approximation of reality'. Some technologies also change the inherent perception of time. In my daily life, I also observe and make assumptions. I spent a year saving up food packaging and collect the little shelf-life dates to sew together. I call them 'Recyclable Date'. At the same time, I used cyanotype to leave some of the transparent labels which are hard to be conserved. I call them 'Non-Recyclable Date'. How 'Long' is one year? If I have reached them? How can there be so 'Long' time? In a constant cycle of cycles and self-referencing days, Sisyphus eats the rock, but the rock still makes a comeback.
While working on this piece, I became increasingly inspired by how to make a piece flow on a time scale, rather than just stay in solid space. I recorded this long string of numbers as a score, and eventually, I moved out of this property where I lived for one year. The date I moved out is Sep20, 2020.
