A ding ding car with ‘The Peach Colony’ written on it carries the collective memories of Hong Kong people and drives towards the the ideal country in their hearts.
In the traditional Chinese context, the Peach Colony Peach Blossom means
a living place of seclusion, beauty, and ideal.

The peach coloured land is a map of Hong Kong, which means ‘The Peach Colony’.
Ting Ting is the oldest public transport in Hong Kong, from 30th July 1904 to today, Hong Kong Ting Ting has been serving this city for 120 years








the Ting Ting car I painted also carries all the public transport in Hong Kong
over the past 100 years
such as the Light Rail,
the Green Train,
the New World First Bus Services Limited (NWFB),
the Kowloon Motor Bus Company (KMB),
minibuses,
the MTR,
Taxis (green for Kowloon, red for Hong Kong Island and sky blue for Lantau Island)
the Star Ferry,
aeroplanes,
New Territories Country Cars,
and other public transport have been running and moving around this land.
Whether they disappear or not
the efficiency and mobility of these public transport keeps the city ALIVE.

Ting Ting's windows are filled with longevity peaches, and a group of bats are travelling along with the car.
